This is the guide for the Dormire Sofa Bed.

Important notes when for the sofa bed

Opening: The headrest needs to be upright for the bed to open properly. If the headrests are down they will prevent the bed from being flat.

Care: The fabric is all removable and attached with Velcro. Please only hand wash with cold water or dry clean. Do not put this in a machine wash.

For delivery:  This arms come in a separate box that simply install by sliding them into the sofa. Please do this only after you have it in your final room.

To get this sofa bed through a doorway it is best to put the sofa bed on it’s side and stand it tall.

If you can’t fit the sofa through the doorway like this there are two options.
1. If it is close you can remove the door from it’s hinge and try again.
2. If you need more room the top portion of the sofa is removable by loosening 4 bolts.

Removing the sofa bed top:

To do this open up the sofa partially and you can look to see where the back rest’s plate connects to the mechanism.

Once located use a 13mm socket, or a hand wrench, to loosen the 4 bolt connections. You do not need to remove the bolts, just make them loose enough that you can slide it through the opening and the whole top can then come off. You need to loosen all 4 bolts and then slide the metal bracket.

 

 

Now the system should fit through even narrow doors. The very back of the sofa can also slide off if needed, but is likely not required.

Once through the doorway it you can add the top back.
We removed the mattress and the seat pillows in this example. While not required it did make it lighter to move.
