This LMG Revolving Murphy Bed system has a bookshelf unit that revolves around and opens into a queen sized bed. Includes the folding – sliding table on the front. Custom built to order in approximately 14 weeks from factory to your home. The useful built-in storage shelves are a great feature maximizing a small space. The rotating wall bed is finished in a variety of panel choices so you can easily match the decor of your home. The shelves can blend into a room with a larger library, serve as ornamental shelving space or be a bookshelf on its own. With a few simple twists and turns your books and possessions are hidden away and you can lower your bed for a good night’s sleep. We include a premium memory foam Italian mattress and the sliding table. The table is a huge benefit, allowing you to have a dining table in a home where space does not permit, or just to have a hide away table and convertible bed which free up a big area during the day making any space more livable. Assembly required
This is a DIY install. Homes have different wall structures and it is important to get the correct anchors for your specific wall. For this reason, while most hardware is included in the packing we do require you to purchase your own wall anchors. After you determine your wall type (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise. The unit will revolve most easily on smooth surfaces, such as hardwood, but this would still work on carpet and some customers with thicker carpet have used a rolling mat. We can recommend options as well for carpet or if you have very softwood floors you want to protect.
Memory Foam Mattress
Compatto mattress included: Medium-firm two-layer memory foam mattress with the first layer being high density memory foam to adapt to your body without compression points, the second layer offers further support below. (US queen sheets and linens will work on this) You will have room for sheets and a thin duvet but expect to take off your pillows and thicker bedding. Materials and Build:
This is a highly specialized design that is uses thin Italian engineered panels that are malleable and light weight. The system uses aluminum metal work and the bed frame uses slatted wood to support the mattress. Connection bolts are in silver. We have black, brown and white cover caps (depending on your panel finish) for these available or leave silver like the videos. Tracks and groves – tracks are cut directly into the panels to allow the system to rotate. Metal latch locks are located on the top of the bed. Please view the videos for details. Storage and decor
The system is best used as a mix of decorative and storage items and we suggest putting heavier items in the middle and to not over do the storage of heavy goods on this system or it will become more difficult to rotate. Rotation works best on flat surfaces and thicker carpets might require more effort to turn.

We bought two of these beds, for two small one bedroom houses (700SF+-), as we wanted to make the most of our limited square footage. We couldn't be happier with the results. The desk and shelves make for an efficient workspace, with room for books, laptops and office supplies, and when rotated, the queen size bed is extremely comfortable (we went with the coil spring mattress), and it folds up with both sheets and blankets (however, not with a comforter/duvet or pillows. The color selection is great, and the completed unit is sturdy. As a result of its sturdiness, the person planning to put together and install the Compatto will need help, at least another person for the fabrication from the flat packs, to two additional people for the standing up and inserting the completed components. We would definitely recommend these units to anyone looking for a combination wallbed/office (or dining) shelves and table.
We wanted to utilize our condo’s small second bedroom mainly as an office space, but to also have a hideaway bed for the odd time we had guests stay over. So our extensive search started and we looked at many wall beds. Once we found the Compatto system, we knew we had found the perfect piece. The sleek contemporary bookshelf, the expansive desk area (can also be used as a dining room table) and a comfortable Italian queen sized bed - all packaged together in Italian quality manufacturing!
We enjoy demonstrating the easy transition from office space to bedroom to all our guests. Everyone is always so impressed to see the whole bookcase rotate to reveal the bed without having to move things off the bookshelf. Functional, fashionable, and a great conversation piece. As a bonus, we can easily slide the desk away to make room to work out in the room as well.
When we received all the boxes, we were a big worried about the assembly process but the videos helped a lot. Be prepared to spend about 8 hours and it will be helpful to have two people work together.
We are very happy with this purchase and the unit works perfectly in the second bedroom. It was more than we wanted to spend but it was worth the price.

The space allows me to engage in academic computer work, as well as artistic, social, and everything else I need in these challenging times. I’m so glad we got the Compatto before the pandemic! It wouldn’t have been the same working on a small kitchen table.
My husband enjoyed the comfortable mattress. If the price iso more affordable, I can recommend to my friends. The price I paid for the unit, is that I dare not mention to any of my friends as it could be seen as a show off or they think that I am crazy. My husband think that I am crazy and for the price that I paid, delivery should be included. Overall, we are very happy with the unit.
