The Reveal King Lifting Under Storage Bed is has an extra 50% more storage than a conventional storage bed. Offering 13 inches of depth supported by a superb hydraulic gas piston lifting mechanism, this bed is a very good choice for storage problems. The clever lifting pull-up feature allows for your storage items to be packed away and retrieved just as simply. The grey fabric work for any decor needs and lends a luxurious look. I chose the Reveal Queen because my apartment bedroom is smallish and opening the bed from the side was an appreciated feature that was absent from like competitors.
The advertised storage height of 13 inches did not disappoint and is actually a bit taller in some places. This more than doubled what I had on my previous bed setup.
The only knock I have is the bed came with modified installation instructions but the hardware necessary to complete the installation was not included in the box. It had to be shipped separately at a later date. I'm a little handy with tools, but chose to go with their recommended installer but the guy couldn't finish it due to the missing parts.
Having known this, would I still have made the purchase? Definitely.
It's a fantastic product and of fantastic quality. It's been holding up well (and I love no squeaking sounds) and the storage room is quite ample. Functionally and aesthetically it gets a 5/5
One feedback from me is that building it can be quite a chore. In particular the location where some of the bolts need to be inserted into can be a bit challenging with an allen key (such as very near the corner, or obstructed by the other parts). Moreover, when it came there was one hole on the head board that wasn't exposed, it was still covered by the cloth on the headboard. And the wood for that same hole wasn't yet shaved. Thankfully, the hole was indeed large and the remaining food soft enough such that the bolts can still be screwed. But that was definitely one part where the delivery quality didn't hold up to excellence
But overall, I'm still a very happy customer and the product itself can't be faulted

The main reason why I bought the queen size reveal bed was due to the lift up functionality that allows me to store many items under the bed. The bed did not disappoint and did as advertised. But what left me with lasting positive memory is the customer service of the team. See, my bed frame was shipped with a few malfunctioned parts, when I contacted the team, they responded quickly to and shipped replacement parts immediately. I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service of Expand Furniture. We all made mistakes and what impressed me the most is how the team came together to solve the issues. I will be back if I need another multifunctional furnitures thanks to the team!
I would strongly suggest that if you have a king size bed that you order the heavy duty lift cylinders. With those installed the bed is easily lifted and held in the upright position. We live in Florida and storage is at a premium. The company is very easy to work with and friendly also! It took us about three hours to assemble but worth every minute of it!
