If you have the space to lounge out on your chaise and need to accommodate more guests, then look no further than the MurphySofa Sectional Clean wall bed. A modern multifunctional space saver that really makes your home more efficient.
This would be hard to live without in a bachelor or studio, helping save space while being able to fully enjoy your living room in the day, but having a full comfortable North American queen sized bed at night. An incredible addition to any sized home whether used in a bedroom so you can free up space for yoga, exercising, an art studio, children’s playroom, a multipurpose media room with an occasional bed, or a main bed in an open concept home. The side shelf with 3 shelves and storage box is included. Sectional sofa has storage function including in the chaise and ottoman portion (old style sliding chaise available through custom order but no longer stocked). Compatible with standard USA/CAN queen size mattresses under 10 inches in height. We suggest a size of 8-9 inches (lots of room for bedding). - This glossy white wide shallow depth cupboards perfect for storing your clothing as well as extra bedding or storage in a compact form. This can be placed on either side of the bed. The cupboard opens above the sofa back rest height and are built for this system. You also have the choice of having an open cupboard if you prefer, MurphySofa 100cm side shelf and let us know in your order notes.

Wall Mounting Required
Homes have different wall structures and it is important to get the correct anchors for your wall. While most hardware is included in this we do require you purchase your own wall anchors for this reason. After you determine your wall type (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise. For most handymen this is an easy task.
Mattress Requirements
- Size: 60 x 80 inches (10 inch or under thickness)
- Weight: 50 lb minimum, 100 lb maximum. Inquire for out of scope weights.
You can test out a mattress that suits your comfort level and lifestyle. This will fit most North American Queen Sized mattress under 10 inches in height. We strongly recommend a 8-9 inch mattress so you can leave your pillows duvet and other items on. It is compatible with the Expand 8″ gel mattress or the 9 inch magniflex. Receive $500 discount on the MurphySofa when you purchase it at the same time as the Magniflex.
Modular design
- The chaise and the cupboard can be set on either side during the install.
- The fabric is removable for handwashing or for future replacement.
Customization
Designer Wall beds with Sofas can be customized upon request. Current Quick Ship is with glossy white panels with sofas in Queens Grey.
Extra replaceable fabric options ($750)
You can order an extra cover in a variety of colors. Please email to inquire.
The sofa fabric is completely replaceable with velcro covers, the ottoman uses a a slip cover which goes over the whole ottoman. If you are not in a rush we can also produce the ottoman in another finish and ship this later on, instead of using a slip cover.

Do you deliver inside? Up stairs?
Yes most products will be delivered inside your home provided you have an elevator or ground access, sometimes curbside is our only option without excess fees. If you have stairs please let us know ahead of time before you order as we need to make special arrangements.

What is your return policy?
7 day trial with easy returns on most products
We expect our customers will love our products as much as we do, however we understand things won’t always work as planned so we created a flexible policy. Details below.
Returns: For USA & Canadian customers we accept returns on all stocked tables, chairs and sofa modules provided we are notified within 7 days of delivery. Original packaging is required.
Ineligible items: We do not accept returns on custom order products, clearance items, or items that can be slept on including Murphy Beds (wall beds), mattresses.
Return fees: We charge a simple 15% fee on any returned item. Shipping costs are not refundable.
What is the Quality Guarantee?
We pride ourselves on the quality of every item we carry, we work very hard to make sure we only have the best. We back this up by offering lifetime warranties on our telescopic table and Murphy Bed Frame mechanisms as well as an exceptional 5 year store wide warranty on all product hardware.
Even if somehow something went wrong after the warranty period is over, we will be happy to try and send any replacement parts at cost, or for free if we are able to. Most products are built to be modular and repairable to extend the product lifecycle. We carry spare parts and if we don’t have it in stock, often we can make the parts needed for your product. I scoured the internet and read many reviews of murphy-sofa-beds across many websites and settled on Expand Furniture's MurphySofa Clean - Sectional Queen Wall Bed. This was primarily due to the solid construction that it showed to have had in the videos. Many other murphy beds did not appear as solid and secure and would more rapidly depreciate with wear and tear as you use the product. The other features, such as a 3 seat couch, closet space, and under-couch storage were all huge pros.
While yes, more costly than a "normal" murphy bed, I would say it much more makes up for it in the huge value you get out of it. It was also able to transform my studio apartment in to a true multi use space, having the couch to host a few friends, and a bed for use at night.
Bonus: The contractors who I had install the unit said it was one of the most sturdy products they had ever worked with.
Love the product. Excellent customer service. The owner of the company is personally involved. The quality of the product is superior to other companies at a much better price.
My mom recommended Expand to me and I was hesitant because even though I have a studio apartment, I didn't want to have to fold something up every time people came over. This bed makes it so easy and people compliment/are so fascinated by the product. The glossy white is beautiful for any space and the bed frame feels stable and secure.

Love this Murphy bed, it works and looks great and has added so much extra room to my studio apartment. Jared and Adam were a great help. The delivery took a few weeks; and the wood pieces are heavy. With a friend, it took us about 10 hours to assemble (we're novices). But I'm very happy and love Expand!
