Thank you for purchasing the Transforming Table Evolved!

When you open the box, we suggest you only activate the lever when the table is correctly oriented. (not upside down)
If the table is upside down and you activate the handle, the legs can quickly rise.

If the table is stuck on your first raise: try move it to flat surface, add some stable heavy items (like books) to help add some weight, and firmly press down on the middle with your body weight while activating the handle. This should get it un-stuck.

Remove all packaging from the table, including the packing on the legs. This is important because if the packaging is on the legs it will not open easily.

To lift the table: Pull the handle all the way over so it is activated. Lift the table up with your free hand.

To lower the table: Pull the handle all the way over so it is activated. Push down firmly in the center of the table and lean over with your body weight. The table requires some weight and pressure to lower it.

If you are having trouble lowering the table on carpet, try moving it over 1-2 inches in any direction. Sometimes the legs can create a slight impression / divot in you carpet and it makes it harder to move.
