Wall Mounting Required
While most hardware is included in this we do require you purchase your own wall anchors. Homes have different wall structures (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) and it is important to get the correct anchors for your wall. After you determine your wall type (we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise). For most handymen this is an easy task.

Fits a Queen 60″ x 80″ at 10″ thick max at 65+ lbs.

I recently purchased and installed a sofa murphy bed in the spare bedroom of my condo. It was fairly easy to install, ideally with a friend so one person can hold a piece in place while the other screws it in place. The hardest part was attaching to the wall as it was on outer condo wall.. concrete and tapcon screws.
I'm really happy with the ease of using the bed and the overall look of the room. My wife is not a sport fan, so I am banished to the room during NHL playoffs and it's not so bad. Even thought my team lost.
Im afraid I was disappointed in two aspects. The instructions did not match the bed, and it appeared there were missing parts. Instead it was a different model so nothing was missing. There were no instructions for sofa assembly. I called and was emailed a link. The design to attach the arms to the cross pieces is flimsy and unstable, very poor and arms are vulnerable to pressure sideways. Lastly, the sofa itself is very hard, almost like a bench. The cushions are cosmetic.
This is an update on 11/8/24. I have been contacted by customer service and the problem of unstable arm fixation was addressed. I was sent a diagram and video on placing brackets, as well as having brackets sent to me. Despite some shipping issues, the fix was successful and the sofa is solidly constructed now. The instructions for the bed construction and lack of sofa instructions remain problematic and I can foresee that being resolved, as the bracket concern was taken seriously. Perhaps creating a softer sofa cushion is also possible in the future. Updating my rating to 4 of 5 stars.
