This Queen size rotating Murphy bed Includes a wide desk making it an excellent fit for an office space. The work-suite in front of the desk has room for dual monitors, small format computers or all in one iMacs.

Fold the desk away and rotate the bed to transform the space back into a bedroom. The vertical shelving is perfect for storing files, books and decorations. You can also optionally install a television up to 75″, computer monitors, or just keep it with all shelves, the choice is yours. To power your devices, cords can be run through openings that are in 3 of the upper shelves as well as at the top of the rotating face panel. A memory foam mattress is included. Choose our quick ship bundle or custom order this from Italy (~16-20 weeks) where you can select your panel choices and customize.

Assembly required

This is a DIY install. Homes have different wall structures and it is important to get the correct anchors for your specific wall. For this reason, while most hardware is included in the packing we do require you to purchase your own wall anchors. After you determine your wall type (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise. The unit will revolve most easily on smooth surfaces, such as hardwood, but this would still work on carpet and some customers with thicker carpet have used a rolling mat. We can recommend options as well for carpet or if you have very softwood floors you want to protect.

Memory Foam Mattress

Compatto mattress included: Medium-firm two-layer memory foam mattress with the first layer being high density memory foam to adapt to your body without compression points, the second layer offers further support below. (US queen sheets and linens will work on this) You will have room for sheets and a thin duvet but expect to take off your pillows and thicker bedding. Do you deliver inside? Up stairs?

Yes most products will be delivered inside your home provided you have an elevator or ground access, sometimes curbside is our only option without excess fees. If you have stairs please let us know ahead of time before you order as we need to make special arrangements.

What is your return policy?

7 day trial with easy returns on most products
We expect our customers will love our products as much as we do, however we understand things won’t always work as planned so we created a flexible policy. Details below.

Returns: For USA & Canadian customers we accept returns on all stocked tables, chairs and sofa modules provided we are notified within 7 days of delivery. Original packaging is required.

Ineligible items: We do not accept returns on custom order products, clearance items, or items that can be slept on including Murphy Beds (wall beds), mattresses.

Return fees: We charge a simple 15% fee on any returned item. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Import Duties, tariff & taxes

For the USA and Canada there are no duties or tariffs to pay as most products are already in our North American warehouses or we have factored them in. Taxes are calculated at checkout based on your location.

For international shipment you might have import duties, tariffs or taxes based on your specific jurisdiction. Countries regularly change their rates and rules. If you reach out to us we can attempt to calculate them, and in some cases there are no duties or taxes for your region.

Better than I expected

Finally had the Compatto Wall bed installed and I am happy with the results. It gives space to utilize the bedroom as a sitting room/office and when we have guests, we are able to flip it around to accommodate a queen size bed! The only drawback with the unit is that I still need to be careful when moving the shelving.

Excellent Multiuse Compatto Rotating Office Murphy Bed w/Desk for small spaces

The quality and design of our new Compatto Rotating Office Murphy Bed w/Desk is excellent. Living in a NYC apartment means dual use of every space. This unit is attractive and sleek meshing well with our living area. It also allows us to maintain a comfortable guest room (the matress and its support are outstanding and very important given we get many friends and family visiting us throughout the year) for our visitors while having a much needed office space. Not having to remove items from the shelves and desk when converting to a bed is a significant plus. The top of the Murphy bed allow for the display of more decorative items and books. Given our extensive search for a Murphy bed the Compatto was the best in a very competitive market. Customer service was also excellent furing the sale process and afterwards.

Italian Murphy bed with TV Shelf

We had the bed installed. It took two men about 5 hours. I would suggest to indicate to potential customers to locate the wall socket into which the TV is to be plugged before and have it moved to a location that would make the electric cables invisible and the conversion to bed easy. Also a suggestion to get a wall mount for the TV.
Otherwise the shelf looks really nice transforming our TV room into a guest bedroom whenever necessary.

I grew tired of working from home under a twin-sized loft bed, and hitting my head all the time. It felt like neither the desk space nor the guest bed space was satisfying, and I found myself avoiding the room and working from the couch most of the time.

Now I feel like the office/guest room is the best of both worlds instead of a bad compromise, and I actually want to spend time in my office!

Thoughts on assembly/install:
This unit took us the better part of three nights to unpack and install - listen to the assembly guide when it says unpacking will take longer than you expect! The intense packaging mostly did the job - there was just one damaged corner on the desk part, but we installed decorative metal corner covers to hide the damage rather than deal with trying to send parts back. My ceiling is only 90 inches high, and so we needed a drill extension attachment in order to mount the unit to the wall because our arms couldn't reach into the 3 inch gap - so worth it though!

Overall I'm SUPER pleased - what a clever piece of engineering!
