So impressed with the design, quality and functionality of this unit.

The revolving bookshelf/murphy bed was a top tier solution for maximizing utility in a tiny space! It allowed me to turn what was a flex living/dining area into a guest bedroom as well allowing for occupancy to be increased from 2 person to 4 person in a tiny footprint. The functionality, design and utility are all great and it is a major addition to the space!

The Compatto Rotating Murphy Bed with Desk has been an absolute game-changer for our space. We have a narrow “niche” that the builder originally envisioned as a small office, and this transformed it into a smart, beautifully executed dual-purpose area. The action is incredibly smooth, and the bed moves up and down effortlessly. The design and engineering are outstanding, and we absolutely love the Mocha color. It took longer than expected to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Thank you!

So far so good on the bed. We don't rotate it a ton and it's mostly in desk mode, but it's exactly what we were looking for. I will say, the build quality of Resource furniture's model (which I've heard is the original model for this type of bed) is noticeably higher. The Expand one has a few wobbly bits that make it feel a bit janky when you're rotating things, but that's pretty much just cosmetic, it all works in the end.

If we were going from desk to bed every day, I might be a bit less satisfied with the build quality, but given how we use it, it's working well.

I love that I can style the shelves and rotate the bed without disturbing a single piece of decor and when not in use the desk folds down seamlessly. I grew tired of working from home under a twin-sized loft bed, and hitting my head all the time. It felt like neither the desk space nor the guest bed space was satisfying, and I found myself avoiding the room and working from the couch most of the time.

Thoughts on assembly/install:
This unit took us the better part of three nights to unpack and install - listen to the assembly guide when it says unpacking will take longer than you expect! The intense packaging mostly did the job - there was just one damaged corner on the desk part, but we installed decorative metal corner covers to hide the damage rather than deal with trying to send parts back. My ceiling is only 90 inches high, and so we needed a drill extension attachment in order to mount the unit to the wall because our arms couldn't reach into the 3 inch gap - so worth it though!

Overall I'm SUPER pleased - what a clever piece of engineering!

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with our Compatto bed. The extra bedroom with a great view in our house was first my office. A year later we had to transform it into a guest bedroom to host our exchange student. Once a guest bedroom, I was reluctant to change it into an office space in case I would have to move all my things again, but I missed the workspace, sunlight, and views from that room that was barely bring used. I tried to purchase a small wall-mounted desk, but it was too small, flimsy and I did not like how it would look on the wall when closed.
Then I remembered the Compatto. It is absolutely perfect. I love the large work space the desk provides. The shelves are both functional and most importantly, they allow me to decorate the room that accommodates my office work space, but those personal items can quickly disappear when we host guests. Truly magical. I keep pinching myself when I walk into or even past the room. My husband and his friend were impressed with the construction. It requires two strong people to assemble—there were a few moments where the strength of two strong people were definitely needed. I would not have been much help.
Customer support is outstanding, too.
We also greatly appreciate the extra space in the room when both bed and table are collapsed. I didn’t know how much I missed the space until our old queen bed was gone. We are so very pleased. Thank you.

I really enjoy the unique product design of the Compatto rotating office murphy bed with desk, which other manufactures do not offer. While pricey, now that it is completely installed, it was a good choice (FYI we haven’t sleep in the bed yet).

The materials are shipped well packaged. The installation instructions and part markings can be improved as they are minimal and you have to figure it out (I think I received instructions for a different desk bed). One of the hole cut-outs did not align with the bracket, so I had to re-drill the piece.

I attempted to contact customer service a few times and left messages, but no one returned my calls. This is a must fix to improve customer satisfaction. UPDATE: Upon this review, Customer Service responded quickly and resolved the open issues. Much appreciated!

Had some reservations about the Compatto desk/bed because of the price. But I can safely say it's worth every penny. It's an incredibly well built piece of furniture that will surely last very long time. I've already had guests stay and they've commented how comfortable the bed is.
On the other side I work at the desk setup every day, and as far as workstations go, I can't really ask for anything more. I have a ton of room, and with the 2nd shelf removed, my monitors fit on the 1st shelf no problem. I have 2x 32 ultrawide monitors and no issues.

We bought two of these beds, for two small one bedroom houses (700SF+-), as we wanted to make the most of our limited square footage. We couldn't be happier with the results. The desk and shelves make for an efficient workspace, with room for books, laptops and office supplies, and when rotated, the queen size bed is extremely comfortable (we went with the coil spring mattress), and it folds up with both sheets and blankets (however, not with a comforter/duvet or pillows. The color selection is great, and the completed unit is sturdy. As a result of its sturdiness, the person planning to put together and install the Compatto will need help, at least another person for the fabrication from the flat packs, to two additional people for the standing up and inserting the completed components. We would definitely recommend these units to anyone looking for a combination wallbed/office (or dining) shelves and table.

My husband enjoyed the comfortable mattress. If the price iso more affordable, I can recommend to my friends. The price I paid for the unit, is that I dare not mention to any of my friends as it could be seen as a show off or they think that I am crazy. My husband think that I am crazy and for the price that I paid, delivery should be included. Overall, we are very happy with the unit.

Quick note. We flew to Vancouver to buy this item to make sure it was everything we wanted in a wall bed/ desk/ bookcase Answer it was. The staff here are literally the most attentive and knowledgeable about their products. Once we had the majority of the item installed I needed more help and they spent a full hour Skyping with me to get everything perfect. Our condo is small and this wallbed allows us to use the force as a desk, bookcase and bed for when guests come over. It may seem a little expensive but the engineering of the equipment allows you to completely use every available space you need with so much versatility! Thx guys so happy. We will continue to buy our furniture from you even in Calgary!!

We love the revolving bed. We have a 562 sf and it is awesome. We entertain our guests by pulling out the table and showing off the bed.

We love the bed, I have slept on it half a dozen times and it is firm and very comfortable.  My brother in law also loved it.  My sister didn't mind but she is used to a less supportive bed.  We also used the table option this Past Christmas season and it was perfect for wrapping gifts.  I have meant to do a little video review but time has just kept slipping by.  I am very satisfied with this purchase and think it's probably one of the wisest decisions we have made for our home.  I just need to get some different furniture to finish the room!
