Cubist: Table-with-built-in-Extension-Storage

We needed to have an extensionable table when we have many guests over. This is the perfect solution for us, we used it already through a few times. Solid, great looking and great quality - a great idea - and easy to use. Best of all, when we close it - it does not take space.

When my table was first delivered, I discovered that it had been damaged during the transportation process. I was incredibly pleased with the responsiveness of the Expand Furniture team. They responded the same day to my email, and had arranged for a replacement within a few business days. The replacement arrived without issue and I love my new table!

We live in a 525 sq. ft. studio apt. in Manhattan and enjoy hosting dinner parties. We originally had a table with sides that would fold down from Pier 1 and replaced that table with this one. I was concerned with the quality as it was an expensive online purchase to make sight unseen. However, I was able to go to a designer showroom in Manhattan to see a knock off version which alleviated any doubts (the k/o was $10k, don't get duped). This table is very sturdy even down to the minor details. Here are some examples. I'm 215 lbs. and could easily put my full weight on this table in console form and it wouldn't budge. The legs have rubber ends to not scratch the wood floor and small wheels support the leaf holder. All of the mechanics are tight but move smoothly and freely. The leaves lock to each other and to the console ends but require a Philips head screwdriver which is provided and is holstered under the table. The leaves are substantial; both heavy and solid and are easily supported by the extending rails. We will keep this table forever. I highly recommend.

The table is made of good quality wood. The finish is good and everything is built to last. It is perfect for space saving and has a great luxurious feel!! Great shipping options and their customer service is 5 star.

The product finally arrived close to 3 weeks after placing order. Product was great and the customer support is honest and prompt on my order. As 2 panels are slightly damaged, customer support has agreed to replace the damaged panel when the new stock arrived. Good job customer support.

I live in a townhome but love to cook and entertain. Having a permanent dining room table would have taken up too much valuable living space. The Cubist Table was the perfect solution! Fully expanded I can fit 10 diners comfortably, 12 if I need to. When not in use, the console becomes my bar. I appreciate that I can have it all!

Love the product - keep in mind though heavy to move

An excellent product and fits perfectly well into the width I’ve in my kitchen for an extended dining table! I had guests over for lunch over the past weekend. The cubist looked and felt great with enough space for diverse dishes plus drinks flowing during the meal. It was a night and day experience when compared to my previous dining table. Highly recommended!

The table is beautiful. It is easy to use and exactly as advertised. I also have 8 chairs and they are more comfortable than they look on the website. Overall I am thrilled with my purchase!

This type of product does not exist in Malaysia, so we decided to buy it overseas. We love it since it is as real as your marketing picture. We will surely use your service again!

This product is as shown in the video. I am a small female and am able to move this, set-up, put away as intended. It looks very sleek and can double as a console table when folded up. The only reason I'm not rating it perfect is bc part of the bottom is bending out on the back side. White glove delivery was just ok, they did not unbox it, which made it difficult for me to do by myself. It does arrive in 2 boxes and the main piece is fully assembled.

I love that it can be as big or as small as I need, and takes up almost no space when it's put away.

This table is beautiful and well made. With all the extensions in we can easily seat 12-14 people. And it's just the perfect width to add some intimacy to the meal. A truly great value.

The Expand Furniture team were knowledgeable about their product line and had great customer service. My table was delivered three days after placing an order. There was no damage on the table as it was well packed. It also required very little assembly. The table came with a screw driver, which is attached underneath on one end, to use for locking the panels together. We normally have one panel but use all five when we have guests over. I particularly like the storage for the panels under the table which makes it convenient when not in use.

The furniture is AMAZING! It arrived in pristine condition - your packaging is fantastic - and we couldn't be happier with the purchase and Expand's exceptional service!

We have had this table for a few weeks and it has been a great addition to the dining room. With space at a premium in our house it is so helpful being able to have a giant table when we need it, but also have it collapse into such a small package. The built in storage keeps all the extra panels tucked away when not in use in a great looking package. I also really appreciate that the leaf panels lock together with the included screwdriver that tucks away underneath the table top. Lastly, I wouldn't normally comment on packaging, but this table came so well packaged and secure I felt like no shipping mishaps would make a dent in it. Definitely a nice touch as the table was delivered in pristine new condition.

Pros: love the table. I'm very happy to have it. I love the look, flexibility and storage underneath. I would purchase again from Expand Furniture!
Cons: there was an unexpected delivery delay (by about one month) ... I should have been notified by someone at the company about it ... instead I ended up making the first call to find out the status of the delivery. Upon delivery though, the crew were very fast and helpful.
