How does this wall bed work without mounting it to a wall? It has a metal frame built into the unit that extends beyond the wall beds size and out into the room. This counter balances the bed so it cannot tip over and therefore does not require a mount. In the open space between the support frame a ‘hovering’ desk is in place. This desk balances the look by filling in the empty space between the support bars while also providing a multi functional work area. Another amazing feature is this entire desk is balanced, lowering down horizontal to keep your work in place where you left it. You can choose your own custom finishes for the build & face as well as the desk or even mix it up for some contrast.
Why use a freestanding wall bed desk rather than a traditional mounted one? In most cases a mounted wall bed makes more sense as you are not forced to have counterweight bars in front. Some homes may have heritage status and preservation rules which do not allow any modifications to the walls including inserting hardware, no matter how minimal the hardware might be. Also many rental units have clauses that nothing can be mounted to a wall without permission. If your home does not have these allowances this is an excellent option that also has some extra function as a work space. Finishing options

Do you deliver inside? Up stairs?
Yes most products will be delivered inside your home provided you have an elevator or ground access, sometimes curbside is our only option without excess fees. If you have stairs please let us know ahead of time before you order as we need to make special arrangements.

What is your return policy?
7 day trial with easy returns on most products
We expect our customers will love our products as much as we do, however we understand things won’t always work as planned so we created a flexible policy. Details below.
Returns: For USA & Canadian customers we accept returns on all stocked tables, chairs and sofa modules provided we are notified within 7 days of delivery. Original packaging is required.
Ineligible items: We do not accept returns on custom order products, clearance items, or items that can be slept on including Murphy Beds (wall beds), mattresses.
Return fees: We charge a simple 15% fee on any returned item. Shipping costs are not refundable.

We pride ourselves on the quality of every item we carry, we work very hard to make sure we only have the best. We back this up by offering lifetime warranties on our telescopic table and Murphy Bed Frame mechanisms as well as an exceptional 5 year store wide warranty on all product hardware.
Even if somehow something went wrong after the warranty period is over, we will be happy to try and send any replacement parts at cost, or for free if we are able to. Most products are built to be modular and repairable to extend the product lifecycle. We carry spare parts and if we don’t have it in stock, often we can make the parts needed for your product.
