Hover - Compact Wall Bed Queen Size

We bought the Hover bed for our spare bedroom and it works great! We can now use the room for an exercise space most of the year, but also have quick access to another bed for guests when needed. Although it took several hours to assemble, the instructions and video were a great help and we got it built without any issues. Be prepared to deal with lots of cardboard after you unpack everything!

Love the product - it arguably has the shortest projection on the market making this perfect for small rooms. Eric was fantastic - professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to advise and assist us.

The reason I installed this into my master bedroom was to double the room as a home office in the day. It also provides much needed storage for those living in a smaller living space. The Wall bed is also has a very modern look. If you are looking to maximize space and transform your room into an office or living space, this is a very good solution. #functionalcondoliving

We're two months into sleeping on our Hover wall bed daily and cannot say enough good things about it. The bed is well made, and has a sleek and stylish appearance. It fits in well with our minimalist decor. We loved that we could use our own mattress as the depth is quite forgiving compared to other wall beds we looked at. We use our wall bed daily, as our main bed as we live in a small space. So far it's working great for us! Our only feedback would be to upgrade the clip mechanism for the mattress. The current clips are made of plastic and don't seem very durable.

While it has simple clean lines, the bed is handsome with its shiny white lacquered surface. You won’t find a bed like this anywhere else. I am so glad I live in BC because ordering and shipping was easy.

Assembly was not a breeze but we didn’t expect it to be. All the parts were accounted for. The video and online PDF did the job. There was one scary moment when the pistons would not let the bed frame down. But, phew, we just needed to add the mattress and the front panels. The videos tell you the pistons need the weight of these two things to open the bed up. DO NOT skip these things.

We love it. And, hope to never move because this thing is in now!!!

We ordered two of the horizontal beds with custom shelving on top to create an entertainment center look. Very happy with how sleek it looks and how easy it is to put the beds away. The beds are very slim too and don’t look as bulky as other Murphy beds / entertainment centers on the market.

Exactly what we were looking for. The wall bed looks great and our thick mattress fits perfectly. The assembly process was hectic without paper instructions and videos that were not detailed enough at times. I contacted the customer assistance and they were able to help me out when I had questions. They also said they were revamping the instructions video/pdf.

I'd like to state that the Hover compact bed is looks well made and feels secure. No complaints on the end product. However, building the bed was not the most convenient. The online instructions provided were from an outdated model of the queen-size wall bed which led to my initial frustrations. For the money you spend, you would think that the building process would be super easy. PLEASE, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE BUYERS.

Turned a small workout room into a usable guest room—Hover bed looks fantastic! Shipping was super fast and customer service was outstanding. Hands down the best space saving furniture at a reasonable cost.

We looked at a number of different types of wall beds from various online retailers, and this one has proven to be of excellent quality given that we use it every day. The piston mechanisms work really well to keep the bed from dropping down at any high rate of speed which is important as we have a toddler. (She loves to ‘put the bed up’ every morning too!). We have always received happy service from the folks at Expand and would recommend this style of bed to any families looking for a solid, European made product. We also sleep on the Magniflex mattress which has been awesome. If you have space beside the bed, consider adding some sort of shelving system as a place to put a reading light and your books, phone, etc. We had one made and installed and it’s really brought the whole look and function together.

Impressed again with the quality of Expand Furniture’s products. New Murphy bed looks great, love the simple lines, very smooth up/down mechanism, and is really solid construction. Our installers said it was way better than most products they deal with.

Beautiful and compact wall bed. I’ve had two other Murphy beds in the past and this is much better. Straight forward assembly and easy operation. An elegant cabinet when closed, and a very comfortable bed when open. And really hefty construction with thick side panels and a durable finish.

I have owned Resource Furniture Penelope bed, as well as other murphy beds. This Expand Hover Queen bed by far is the best in design. Putting it together was a snap. Will write another review when we've used it a while!

I purchased a custom wall bed from Expand and it exceeded my expectations! I have an oddly configured bedroom and I was worried I wouldn't be able to make it work but after speaking with the Expand team they found a configuration that fit perfectly. The entire process was seamless and they even coordinated the installation of the wall bed. The product itself feels very well constructed - I would not hesitate to recommend Expand and their products.

Great product, delivery experience was however quite terrible! Would buy again as long as a different company was used to outsource delivery.

Overall the bed is not bad and looks quite nice. But the inside of the cupboard and shelves is pink instead of white like everything else. We have a high quality 10-inch mattress installed (that isn't light) and yet the legs still levitate slightly above the ground which is annoying. It's obviously meant to be counterbalanced but it's more important for the bed to be solidly on the ground than to be able to lift it with one finger, the pistons are too strong. The assembly guide and parts don't match very well, different screws are provided to what's pictured. The cupboard didn't come with an assembly guide at all, had to find a YouTube video online and follow that.
