I love that I can style the shelves and rotate the bed without disturbing a single piece of decor and when not in use the desk folds down seamlessly. This is a fantastic option for condo living or a guest room.

I grew tired of working from home under a twin-sized loft bed, and hitting my head all the time. It felt like neither the desk space nor the guest bed space was satisfying, and I found myself avoiding the room and working from the couch most of the time.

Now I feel like the office/guest room is the best of both worlds instead of a bad compromise, and I actually want to spend time in my office!

Thoughts on assembly/install:
This unit took us the better part of three nights to unpack and install - listen to the assembly guide when it says unpacking will take longer than you expect! The intense packaging mostly did the job - there was just one damaged corner on the desk part, but we installed decorative metal corner covers to hide the damage rather than deal with trying to send parts back. My ceiling is only 90 inches high, and so we needed a drill extension attachment in order to mount the unit to the wall because our arms couldn't reach into the 3 inch gap - so worth it though!

Overall I'm SUPER pleased - what a clever piece of engineering!

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with our Compatto bed. The extra bedroom with a great view in our house was first my office. A year later we had to transform it into a guest bedroom to host our exchange student. Once a guest bedroom, I was reluctant to change it into an office space in case I would have to move all my things again, but I missed the workspace, sunlight, and views from that room that was barely bring used. I tried to purchase a small wall-mounted desk, but it was too small, flimsy and I did not like how it would look on the wall when closed.
Then I remembered the Compatto. It is absolutely perfect. I love the large work space the desk provides. The shelves are both functional and most importantly, they allow me to decorate the room that accommodates my office work space, but those personal items can quickly disappear when we host guests. Truly magical. I keep pinching myself when I walk into or even past the room. My husband and his friend were impressed with the construction. It requires two strong people to assemble—there were a few moments where the strength of two strong people were definitely needed. I would not have been much help.
Customer support is outstanding, too.
We also greatly appreciate the extra space in the room when both bed and table are collapsed. I didn’t know how much I missed the space until our old queen bed was gone. We are so very pleased. Thank you.

I really enjoy the unique product design of the Compatto rotating office murphy bed with desk, which other manufactures do not offer. While pricey, now that it is completely installed, it was a good choice (FYI we haven’t sleep in the bed yet).

The materials are shipped well packaged. The installation instructions and part markings can be improved as they are minimal and you have to figure it out (I think I received instructions for a different desk bed). One of the hole cut-outs did not align with the bracket, so I had to re-drill the piece.

I attempted to contact customer service a few times and left messages, but no one returned my calls. This is a must fix to improve customer satisfaction. UPDATE: Upon this review, Customer Service responded quickly and resolved the open issues. Much appreciated!
