The Hover Single Vertical Wall bed with Table Desk

I absolutely love this wall bed. It has turned our guest room into a useable space again! The high gloss white is clean and modern looking. The desk is minimalist, but large enough to be an actual useful space for working or crafting. I love that it stays balanced when the bed comes down, so I don’t need to clear the space. The bed itself is super easy to pull down (I can do this with one hand and little effort). It feels sturdy and secure when in the down position and is very comfortable to sleep on. I could not be happier with this purchase!

I love this Murphy bed. I bought it for my small office/second bedroom. I initially bought this for guests who visit and may need a space to work, but I've also been using it a lot to work remotely. I'm about 5'5" and it's the perfect ergonomic height for me while I'm sitting at the desk. Website says it fits a 9" mattress, but you could fit a 10" if you don't close it with a blanket and pillows still on it. It feels incredibly sturdy and durable, and of excellent quality. I know this because when pulling out the mattress, my mom didn't realize a leg got caught on the table, so she put her weight on it to push it down. The rubber/silicone foot did rip a bit and there was a slight scratch on the edge of the table. However the scratch is almost non-existent even if you look at it up close. Most people wouldn't even notice it.

I installed your wall desk/ bed in a Manhattan studio apartment that I recently renovated. The apartment sold very quickly, with multiple offers. The bed/desk feature of the apartment had much to do with the very positive feedback we got from everyone who viewed the apartment. It was undoubtedly a factor in its sale, creating a true bedroom-office area where one never existed before.

We purchased the horizontal hover Murphy bed with attached desk and are loving it. It fits well in our small second room and allows us to use the space as both an office and a bedroom when guests are in town. Great product and customer service! Took some time to build but is steady as a rock!

Hover Compact Bed is perfect for our guest bedroom as we had limited door clearance as the door is at ~25 angle into the room. Delivery was awesome as the guys lifted the boxes to the 2nd floor. Would have required me to unbox in the garage and carry me the pieces individually.

I ordered two murphy bed/desks from Expand and find them to be of very high quality. You will find that after your purchase, you are not left to your own devices. Rather, the team at Expand will provide support through the assembly process, help to make adjustments where needed, and, overall, simply make things right. I am happy with the products, but I am delighted by the product support and after-sales service. Anyone shopping with Expand should buy with confidence.

I don't know yet. I would say that if you sell something, you should make sure you have service providers that can set it up. Also, need to make sure the delivery company is prepared with dimensions for delivering the item.

The quality of the packaging for this furniture is over and above the best I’ve ever seen. No damage at all in shipping. It took us a total of about 7 hours to unpack and build. Overall the directions were pretty good. We only messed up one part bec the predrilled holes on the top panel were not indicated clearly in the instructions. In the end - it is minor and we covered the predrilled holes that show on the front of the furniture by adding lighting across the top. Everyone who has seen the desk/bed has been super impressed and asked for the link to the item bec they were impressed by the quality.

We are very please with our horizontal queen Murphy bed desk. The bed is comfortable and of a quality you would expect with a static bed, the desk is very large and practical and of course the way it all folds up is amazing. A couple of items to be aware of. One the assembly time was about 8 hours for me and I consider myself reasonably handy. Two balancing the piston strength against the weight is tricky. We bought a mattress that was about 70lbs (as suggested) but still needed replacement pistons as those supplied were not a good fit.

the wall bed works and looks great. Sturdy to sleep on - couldn’t tell the difference from my old bed. And a fantastic desk to work on.

I absolutely love it so much. I'm so grateful for the quality, craftsmanship, and customization. We wanted to use our Japanese roll out mat and Expand Furniture customized the bed for us. They switched from slats to a solid base and added the ability for us to tie our mat to the foot of the metal bed frame. It turned out better than I could have imagined! We also love the desk, turning our bedroom into an office during the day.

We really like the bed. Great quality! But a couple of things that made the experience overall not great. First was how long it took to deliver. I ordered the bed in April hoping for May delivery. It did not come until June over 4 weeks passed the promised date. Also, the instructions for installation are very complex. They make sense and can be followed but it is a two man job and not very straight forward. Hope this helps

We live in a townhouse and needed to make our spare bedroom also act as an office for when we’re working at home. We love having guests and we want to make sure they’re comfortable when visiting. We researched different Wall Bed solutions and came upon Expand Furniture. We really liked the description of the Hover – Queen Balanced Wall Bed Desk. We also liked the price (having done research last year, a comparable system was priced at almost $20k including mattress and delivery. The unit shipped in several boxes and we found it to be very well packed, therefor no damage or scratches at all when it arrived. It took a little over 4 hours for me and a friend to install. We closely followed the videos which were very helpful. Word to the wise, go buy the anchors they recommend, it will make your life a lot easier. Watch the video on adjusting the shocks a few times until you feel very comfortable with what you need to do. Also, ensure the bottom panel is installed such that the notches for the desk are against the floor. We had a few small issue post installation and the customer support was fantastic. I highly recommend this product. You won’t find anything like it for under quadruple the price.
