Do you deliver inside? Up stairs?
Yes most products will be delivered inside your home provided you have an elevator or ground access, sometimes curbside is our only option without excess fees. If you have stairs please let us know ahead of time before you order as we need to make special arrangements.

What is your return policy?
7 day trial with easy returns on most products
We expect our customers will love our products as much as we do, however we understand things won’t always work as planned so we created a flexible policy. Details below.
Returns: For USA, Canadian and EU customers we accept returns on all stocked tables, chairs and sofa modules provided we are notified within 7 days of delivery. Original packaging is required.
Ineligible items: We do not accept returns on custom order products, clearance items, or items that can be slept on including Murphy Beds (wall beds), mattresses.
Return fees: We charge a simple 15% fee on any returned item. Shipping costs are not refundable.
What is the Quality Guarantee?
We pride ourselves on the quality of every item we carry, we work very hard to make sure we only have the best. We back this up by offering lifetime warranties on our telescopic table and Murphy Bed Frame mechanisms as well as an exceptional 5 year store wide warranty on all product hardware.
Even if somehow something went wrong after the warranty period is over, we will be happy to try and send any replacement parts at cost, or for free if we are able to. Most products are built to be modular and repairable to extend the product lifecycle. We carry spare parts and if we don’t have it in stock, often we can make the parts needed for your product. Rest assured with our satisfaction guarantee, if you aren’t overjoyed with something, let us know and we will be at your service.
Import Duties, tariff & taxes
For the USA and Canada there are no duties or tariffs to pay as most products are already in our North American warehouses or we have factored them in. Taxes are calculated at checkout based on your location.
For European customers duties and taxes are included on Compatto, Hover, MurphySofa, Cubist, Arcova, Bunk Beds, Sofa Bunks and products with EU or Euro in the titles.
For international shipment you might have import duties, tariffs or taxes based on your specific jurisdiction. Countries regularly change their rates and rules. If you reach out to us we can attempt to calculate them, and in some cases there are no duties or taxes for your region.

I ordered the Mini Flip table online and was happy with my purchase. The desk is sturdy and looks to be well built, and it was as described. The package came with clear instructions for assembly and the video provided was also helpful. Now my 2nd bedroom feels a lot more spacious and I can use the table in different ways.

I had issues with putting it together as one of the pieces used to open the table did not fit. However, I was very pleased with the response from Expand and they shipped me a new part immediately. Design wise, I was a little disappointed that when the table is up against a wall and the hinges are not showing , I have to rotate the table in order to open it.

The only downsides I've had with this table are (1) the assembly instructions aren't labelled well, but eventually I was able to assemble this on my own, and (2) there is a bit of wobble through the centre hinge of the table when unfolded. Beyond that though, the table and folding chairs are very high quality and I'm a big fan. The table is very sturdy when unfolded (or folded). The chairs are also the highest quality / sturdiest folding chairs I've used to date. The price was quite good as well, so I'm very happy with the product.

I’m using it as a kitchen table. We have small child so cleaning the surface (I chose wood grain) was not the best option for us. However, the table looks very nice and elegant.
It does have very sharp corners. I wish it was slightly round at the edges

I love the look and size of the table for my condo. I only gave it 4 stars because the video and written instructions are very difficult to follow. I would assume the video would have been done more professionally and/or the written instructions were more clearly written. The written instructions did not match up to my labeled parts. Might be outdated? Also, when I need to expand the table I have to readjust the under mount lock to fit properly in the hole. Otherwise I would recommend this table for small spaces. I currently use it as my desk and can easily expand to seat 4 people for dinner.

I first came across this type of console table in a magazine called Dwell. In Dwell “Resource Furniture” was credited. I really wanted to have one of their furniture however I found RF was exceptionally high price. So I decided to buy from “Expand Furniture”. Now I feel that I should have forced myself to buy from RF. It was an expensive lesson for me.
Hi Yoko, I am sorry you feel like we did not meet your expectations we really did try. I am glad you appreciate our efforts to deliver this rapidly in time for Christmas within 2 days of ordering. I understand this .5 mm crack in the magnet plastic must have been annoying to see for your present. Fortunately this aesthetic blemish did not at all compromise the function and was only visible on the underside of the table. As we explained to you our showroom & sales staff were off for a much deserved and rare 10 day holiday over the break and this is the reason why we were not able to send this part quicker. One of our staff did take the time from their holiday to personally respond to you and address this and gave you an exact timeline when to expect a new piece in the mail. This was done in under 24 hours. I hope in time you can look past this replacement part delay and enjoy this excellent little table.

Because rents are so high in my city all I could afford was a small 1-bedroom apartment.
The Dining room/living area was so limited in space I needed to decide which of these were more important. I picked more living room. The problem was I have barley any space left for a table and chairs, so I needed a solution.
I found the Expand Furniture site which specializes in these types of solution for smaller spaces.
I really only had about a 37” wall space to work with and also didn’t want to stick out too much.
The Mini Flip - Compact Desk to Table was a good option for me.
When it arrived it did not take too long to setup and right away I noticed the quality was top-notch. Also it made a big difference customer service also sent along the easy YouTube video to make setup a breeze…nice touch.
Measuring only 36” long and 13” deep, it easily fit in the space I had picked.
Opening up the table was easy too and it looks great and very sturdy. I can’t wait for my chairs to arrive to see the whole thing setup.
I would recommend this to anyone with a small space looking for a solution like mine.
After checking out their other products online, I wish I had a whole apartment with fun small space solutions.
