The MurphySofa Stratus Queen sized wall bed paired with a comfortable 2 seat sofa. If you love spending time on the sofa and want a plush seat with cozy curved padded arms to rest against, this Stratus sofa is for you. It uses the same great MurphySofa wall bed system combined with the amazing comfort of the Stratus Sofa series. (our most popular sofas).
You can even enlarge this system by adding on shelving or make the sofa wider or into a sectional at a later date with Stratus Modules, contact us for advice on which pieces to order. A popular add on pieces is the Stratus Mini Ottoman.

Minimum required width and height to install this system:

Combined required width and height for just the wall bed.
You need a minimum of 67 inches width on your wall (204m) for the wall bed but consider the sofa is 80.5 inches wide in front of the wall bed. It opens to 85.75 inches depth (to open the bed) and 8 feet ceilings or a minimum of 93 inches height tall.
*If you are planning on building cabinetry around this we highly recommend installing the wall bed first and then building around it after and not the other way around.

Mattress Requirements
- Size: 60 x 80 inches (10 inch or under thickness)
- Weight: 50 lb minimum, 100 lb maximum. Inquire for out of scope weights.
Sofa Cleaning Expand Furniture Couch Sets
Spot clean with damp cloth, add mild fabric cleaner or detergent soap, if needed. Do not use harsh chemicals or bleaches. Use a soft microfiber style cloth and do not scrub fabric.
Wall Bed Assembly required
The MurphySofa Stratus requires assembly.
Approximately 3 to 5.5hrs with 2 people. We can provide Skype Video assistance.
Wall Mounting Required
Homes have different wall structures and it is important to get the correct anchors for your wall. While most hardware is included in this we do require you purchase your own wall anchors for this reason. After you determine your wall type (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise. For most handymen this is an easy task.
Mattress
You can test out a mattress that suits your comfort level and lifestyle. This will fit most North American Queen Sized mattress under 10 inches in height. We strongly recommend a 8-9 inch mattress so you can leave your pillows duvet and other items on. It is compatible with the Expand 8" gel mattress or the 9 inch magniflex. Receive $500 discount on the MurphySofa when you purchase it at the same time as the Magniflex. Inquire for details
Wall Bed Finish Options:
We stock White Gloss and Matte white from the drop down menu if they are in stock. If you would like an alternative finish not listed we can custom manufacture if you have patience, please inquire (~4 months to build and deliver from Europe to North America).
Transforming table compatible:
This system is compatible with our transforming coffee tables which you can leave in place below the wall bed without having to move anything of out the way. Harmony!
Future Proof System for ease of mind:
The sofa system is future proofed to allow upgrades and changes. So if you decide you want a new sofa style in 10 years time, or if have a mishap when a naughty dog eats your sofa and you need a new one, you are not stuck and we will have compatible options now and in the future.

100 % Polyester fabric make our designer couches immensely comfortable and are great for durability and wiping away minor spills. Included are 3 cushions in Sky Grey, Dusty Blue and a Black & White Checkered pattern.

Do you deliver inside? Up stairs?
Yes most products will be delivered inside your home provided you have an elevator or ground access, sometimes curbside is our only option without excess fees. If you have stairs please let us know ahead of time before you order as we need to make special arrangements.

What is your return policy?
7 day trial with easy returns on most products
We expect our customers will love our products as much as we do, however we understand things won’t always work as planned so we created a flexible policy. Details below.
Returns: For USA & Canadian customers we accept returns on all stocked tables, chairs and sofa modules provided we are notified within 7 days of delivery. Original packaging is required.
Ineligible items: We do not accept returns on custom order products, clearance items, or items that can be slept on including Murphy Beds (wall beds), mattresses.
Return fees: We charge a simple 15% fee on any returned item. Shipping costs are not refundable.
What is the Quality Guarantee?
We pride ourselves on the quality of every item we carry, we work very hard to make sure we only have the best. We back this up by offering lifetime warranties on our telescopic table and Murphy Bed Frame mechanisms as well as an exceptional 5 year store wide warranty on all product hardware.
Even if somehow something went wrong after the warranty period is over, we will be happy to try and send any replacement parts at cost, or for free if we are able to. Most products are built to be modular and repairable to extend the product lifecycle. We carry spare parts and if we don’t have it in stock, often we can make the parts needed for your product.
