The Flip - Console to Table

A fantastic multi-purpose piece. I use it as a console table with a nano chair until I have a project or playing cards or dinner with friends. If I need even more room I open up my matching coffee table. I raise it up put it next to the console for additional seating. Looking forward to using this combination around the holidays. I purchased 2 Flip Console Tables for our condo and have been thrilled. One table is used regularly as a remote workstation and the other is used as a console table. I also have the ability to use them as dining tables as desired. They are very easy to use and move, even for one person and they look great!

I love the flip console table as a hybrid option. When using it as a work table or dinner table it offers great space in my small condo. Once once the work day is done, the table neatly disappears as a stylish console and opens up my living space.

My only comment to improve the table - the machining os screw holes does not seem to line up as perfectly as it should.

Also, since the table legs slide across the floor, having a sturdy felt feet would be nice option.

Very pleased with the Flip. With downsizing to a new home, this flip table gave me the option of having a table to fit 4-6 guests comfortably with the space saving convenience of being able to fold up and provide a display centre when not needed as a dining table. The easy clean gloss white finish is perfect esthetically in my decorating scheme

The Flip Console Table is the piece I've needed for some time now. I am a minimalist and do not need or want a dining room table taking up loft space when it's only used a few times a day. Over the course of several months, I'd looked at many other convertible tables and none of them suited my tastes. The Flip immediately did.

The black version looks as if it's polished to the sheen of a grand piano. The legs are sturdy and easy to use. And several visitors have already commented that the table looks "sexy" and "stylish." It is both.

I only have two criticism. The first is that one can see the leg sliding mechanisms under the table. But given its minimalist design, there is no way to avoid that. Second, the paper instructions may be difficult to follow if one is not mechanically inclined. Expand has a very helpful video that walks one through the process, but I was unable to find it on the site. Customer service did send me the link, however, it would be great if the installation video was readily available on the Flip Console web page, and/or mentioned in the printed documentation.

Those two points aside, I am extremely pleased. the shipping was ultra fast. I ordered it on a Friday and it had arrived from Canada by the following Wednesday. On several occasions, customer service contacted me after closing hours to answer questions. Overall, this has been one of the best online furniture shopping experiences I've had. I would definitely buy from Expand again!

The Flip is the perfect combination of form and function. It is sturdy, easy to assemble and an ideal sideboard until I need more dinner table seating.

Living room dining area was re purposed to accomodate a large desk to work from home. Purchased The Flip - Console to table so that formal dining would be possible The Companion Cube - 5 Hidden Seats Ottoman fits nicely under the table at an artful angle. Looks like it meant to be. Waiting for the first opportunity to have games night - post covid. Combination of The Flip table and Companion cube - increases utilization of limited space - with style.

The Flip is so cute. It’s the perfect size - very compact when closed. Very functional when opened. I really like the walnut color. And thank you for the video on putting in the legs. It was extremely helpful. The Expand staff was very responsive and helpful. I looked at some other expandable furniture but Expand’s quality and service win.

Easy to order, arrived from BC to Ontario in less than a week. Really appreciated the video being emailed before shipment arrived are it was quite helpful when assembling. The Flip is perfect as a console that we use as a small desk in our apartment, in a space we didn’t want to always have a table.

This is a beautiful piece, mo regrets getting it. Very suitable for tiny houses, it’s perfect for mine!

The narrow width of the table, when folded, really helped to save some space in my small apartment. When folded, it is still a very functional table - as a dining or computer table. Bought this for my wife to play May Jong and Canasta on. It's perfect. The only thing I would have liked to see in the handwear package would have been good quality felt floor guides for hardwood floors.

Looks great! Easy to assemble. Perfect solution for my small dining area. Console table most of the time and dining table as needed. Counter height allows me to use my bar stools eliminating the need for additional chairs. Versatility is key in small spaces.
