Scatola M – Expanding Bench Seats 5

I’ve purchased the box coffee table and the mini bench. They are well built, great design and most importantly space saving. I’m totally satisfied.

Great product, terrific staff, and an awesome combination of the Mini Scatola benches with the Jr. Giant Revolution table. I have a small living space which made the choice to use Expand Furniture easy. The table and benches fit perfect in my alcove when collapsed, how I use it most, and expand easily to accomodate 10 comfortably, 12 cozily, and I'm sure I could get 4 more in if needed. Benches open and close easily and are sturdy. I don't feel like they are going to bend or warp after repeated use like other adjustable furniture I've seen. TIP: there is one bench seat that must be used every time regardless of the number of seat you use. I recommend always putting this seat away last and in the middle. You will know where it is and it is easiest to remove.

This is perfect for entertaining a large group of guests! Love that it can be easily tucked away when not needed. Much more flexible and visually appealing than folding chairs. Very sturdy but easy to move around as it has wheels at the bottom. We gave it a lot of thought due to the price but we're very happy with the purchase!

Bought 2 benches. They are very comfortable and the space saving feature is great. Definitely recommend these benches!

The expanding bench is what we expected it to be! It is easy to expand after the initial opening and super easy to take off the panels. Works well and looks great in our home.

Hard to expand and to open when first setting it up.

We had purchased a Gigante Transformer that we loved, but we needed the ability to seat more people. We didn't want to take up much space the 99% of the time when we didn't have the table expanded and so we needed something that could be stored compactly. When I read on the expand website that the Mini Scatola could be used as a side table, a light bulb went off in my head and I realized this was the perfect solution to two problems: seating at the table and the lack of a table on one side of our couch. We have now used it in both fuctions and it has worked extremely well. I was also pleasantly surprised that it arrived fully assembled. If you get an expanding table, this bench goes along with it perfectly.

I really like the bench, it is functional and pretty, however it is difficult sometimes to deal with it (assemble and disassemble)

It is an excellent product and well fit in a small apartment. My friends feel amazed when it can fit five people when it expands. Customer service is good; whenever we have questions, they can solve them.

The Mini Scatola bench is amazing. It is as advertised. It is the real deal, expanding and seating 5 decent sized humans. I'm kinda amazed at how well it works.

Haven’t really used it a lot but it definitely fits under the console table. Seems sturdy and easy to install/assemble

The bench is perfect for any space where you want to keep the floorplan open and only position a dining room table when in use. Otherwise, I personally have the bench (2) off to the side sitting underneath the console/dining room table.

The bench is great for magic expandable seating. There is a bit of a learning curve with placing the cushions down and securing them (no instructions that detailed this in the box. Didn’t occur to us to look for videos, but would have appreciated written instructions vs the pictures that don’t have any explanation). We did have a hard time rolling it around. It seems the wheels underneath aren’t oriented to allow easy movement in all directions. For the price, it’s quite expensive to have seating that isn’t easy to maneuver in our home. But with the two of us, we make do. We put a blanket over the cushions to protect them from dust and clawing pets. Our home doesn’t leave room for storage, so having an expandable seating area for guests that’s goes in a corner is of the utmost importance.

We are empty nesters who have family dinners every Sunday with kids and grandkids. Realizing I needed more seating, I came across the Mini-Scatola. It has been a PERFECT solution - young grandkids love it, fighting to sit on it, and we can adjust the size, depending on who is able to come that week. Super easy to set up and easy to clean.

The product itself is just as good as the advertisement also the after sale service is beyond expectation, quick & responsive

Bought 2 of the benches to pair with our Junior Giant Table and it works great. The benches are great when used for other seating as well
