For the end of the installation, please remember that you must have your mattress on the platform bed to be able to lower it down.
If there is no mattress in position, it will be too difficult to lower the unit with no weight on it.
If your unit is difficult to lower even with the mattress and you have a lighter mattress, please contact us in regards to lower strength hydraulics which may be more suitable for your mattress.
For Step 10 be very careful to not over tighten the bolts when connecting the mechanism as this can cause damage.
If you are installing an electric motor lift system, please read steps 9 and 10, and Annex 1 before proceeding further.

The motor replacement system swaps out the piston system and mechanism on the E1 and E2 beams.
