Like other cabinet beds in the Expand Furniture portfolio, the Metro Cabinet bed is easy to operate and utilizes strong, well-constructed mechanisms that allow the bed to extend in no time and with little effort. The unit also boasts a remarkably comfortable memory foam mattress which will ensure an optimal sleep without the worry of a restless night or waking up stiff the following morning. Once the support base has been extended outwards, the bed is then unclasped, lowered, and the mattress lengthened. All of this is accomplished in under 30 seconds.
The Metro Cabinet bed base is further equipped to store any and all bedding including duvet, pillows and sheets. You will find a convenient drawer located at the bottom of the unit which accounts for part of the cabinet bed’s overall support system. Slide this outward to remove all your desired linens while setting up the bed and consider that this sleep system accounts for itself completely in terms of space and convenience. You will no longer be forced to hunt for extra closet space to store the accessories necessary for a guest bedroom.
The Metro Cabinet bed is Canadian made, and utilizes materials sourced exclusively from North America. It is constructed from hardy multi layered plywood. The sheets of wood veneer are laminated in alternating directions to ensure maximum strength and longevity. Dark steel handles on the unit add another dimension to the piece giving it the look and feel of an elegant cabinet, entertainment unit, or buffet.
